Here's what your day as a Caretaker might look like:
🕛 Afternoon into Evening Shift: 1pm-7pm
🔒 Locking up the school and ensuring it is tidy for the following day
📦 Handling deliveries and assisting with top-ups of essential items
🧼 Collaborating with the cleaning staff as needed
🔑 Unlocking gates for children at drop-off
🔥 Being part of the Fire Warden team
📚 Assisting with resources across the school
🤝 Working alongside an experienced caretaker and the rest of the team
💼 Responding to requests from teachers and staff
Desirable qualifications and skills:
✅ Willing to undergo a DBS Enhanced check
✅ Willingness to receive first aid training
✅ Interest in learning basic DIY skills
✅ Eagerness to gain knowledge in site management and related legislation
