SalaryWe are looking for a Tender / Bid Writer to join the team on a temporary basis, starting on Monday 26th February for 5 weeks.
Salary: £200-£250 per day.
Whilst this role is remote working, there will be occasions through the process that you will need to meet the Managing Director in person from Chelmsford, Essex.

About the Role:
Pursuit are inviting applicants for the role of Tender/ Bid Writer, who will have excellent communication skills, both written and on the phone.
Reporting to the Managing Director, you will be responsible for producing high quality written responses for tender questions, meeting all evaluation criteria, helping to improve the company's conversion ratio from submission to success.
The work involves daily contact with our Essex office at a senior level, collecting and analysing commercial and contract information to write technical responses. In addition you will be responsible for writing case studies and articles to be communicated on the company web site and other social media routes. Whilst this role is remote working, there will be occasions throughout the process that you will need to meet the Managing Director in person from Chelmsford, Essex.
You will be included in each stage of the bid process, from opportunity through to submission for 2 tenders. You will be set objectives and targets which will run in line with tender deadlines. ?Due to the nature of the work, you should be able to pursue and collate information within short timescales and be able to think outside the box using your initiative to acquire results.
About you:
- You will have previous experience working within a tender process in the Private Sector and successfully winning contracts.
- Have experience of project management and an ability to extract information from subject experts to produce high quality and concise bids.
- Excellent multitasking experience, working across 2 tenders during this period
- Take ownership of your workload and take pride in what you do.
- Must be IT literate, confident with Microsoft Office applications
