Do you have a genuine passion for tennis and helping members improve their skills and reach their personal goals? Do you have a talent for coaching and a gift for delivering the best learning experience possible? We are hiring Tennis coaches to support our activities throughout the city.
You will be responsible for:
- Delivering fun, engaging, and inspiring classes, encouraging participants to achieve the maximum potential for their individual needs and abilities.
- Creating an excellent tennis experience for adult and junior players from beginner through advanced level individuals and groups.
- Assessing the skill development, evaluating progress and providing feedback to ensure their ongoing comprehensive development.
- Assisting in creating activity session plans for the tennis programme at Craiglockhart the Meadows in line with our standards, leading to exceptional customer satisfaction.
- Working closely with the team to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for every customer.
Although full training and induction will be given, we are looking for friendly, positive, and charismatic individuals that have:
- Previous experience in delivering engaging tennis lessons and coaching services to children and adults.
- LTA coach qualification, UKCC level 1 or above, and an up-to-date LTA licence. Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with a diverse group of people of differing abilities, stages, and ages.
- Great listening, interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to convey information and provide feedback.
