Territory Manager
- Negotiable Basic Salary: £23k - £26k
- Job Type: Full-time (including 1 in 3 Saturdays with alternate Thursdays off)
Reed in Colchester are supporting our client seeking a Territory Manager to join their dynamic team in a dog-friendly office. This role is a blend of sales and customer service within the vehicle finance sector of a growing business. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing their own territory, taking ownership of new prospects and existing clients, and ensuring the company’s reputation is enhanced through professional engagement.
Day-to-day of the role:- Review and expand the existing client/lead database.
- Conduct thorough research on all clients/leads.
- Utilise effective sales techniques to establish clients’ needs and match them with the appropriate products/services.
- Build and maintain strong, professional relationships with potential and existing clients.
- Work towards and surpass KPIs.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless communication throughout the sales process.
- Communicate professionally via phone and in writing with clients and internal teams.
- Maintain up-to-date product knowledge and adapt quickly when making calls.
- Partner with Field Sales Executives to close sales effectively.
- Provide quotes for vehicle finance packages over the phone while adhering to FCA regulations.
- Dispatch quotation/finance package documents.
- Follow up on quotations to close sales.
- Reach out to customers nearing the end of their finance packages to offer new products.
- A driving licence or local residence due to the rural location of the office.
- At least 18 months of outbound customer service or sales experience.
- Good level of Maths and English.
- Enthusiasm, determination, and the confidence to engage with senior client staff.
