Test Engineer - Scientific equipment - Hampshire - £32-40K - 4 day working week
nGenium have partnered with an exciting technology business in the Hampshire area. They require a test Engineer to join the team to work on their scientific equipment.
The ideal candidate will be someone who is highly motivated, well organised and flexible, with the ability to work unsupervised. This is a full-time, permanent, position. They will consider a broad range of candidates, from non-graduates with exposure to testing, electrical and electronics engineering programming, to experienced graduates engineers, with the relevant skills.
The successful candidate will be required to:
• Wire machines, panels and control cabinet
• Test, commission, calibrate and service a broad range of machines and control systems .
• Travel to customers sites when required to install new machine and train the operators
• Write test procedures
• Assisting in the design of new test machines
The ideal candidate:
•Should have education in electrical or electronic engineering (BTEC,HNC, HND,…)
• Experienced of both analogue and digital systems, panel wiring and control and data acquisition systems
•Experienced in electro-mechanical assembly, demonstrate ability to read technical drawings and electrical schematics - also be organised, methodical, keen to handle multiple tasks and flexible in their approach to work.
•Computer literate
•Hold valid driving licence and passport.
•Available to go on trips overseas.
•Previous experience or general knowledge of sensors & transducers (load, temperature) and motor drives would be an advantage
