Our client has already engaged in the delivery of a wide range of high-profile projects and on the back of this they have been recently awarded another major contract and thus are looking to add a Test Engineer Supervisor on a permanent position.

DUTIES INCLUDED for the role of Test Engineer Supervisor :
- Managing and Overseeing a very busy test and inspection department.
- Ensure Production plan, test and inspection work are carried to schedule/dates, monitoring progress and resolving any test problems.
- Create and manage the Test & Inspection work schedule, assign engineers to projects based on their capability and availability to ensure the test projects are maintained, reporting any issues which overrun to the Director of Operations.
- Attend the Daily Test/Production meeting.
- Ensure good working communication is kept with the Director of Operations and other internal departments, Engineering, Procurement, Service and Production.
KEEN to hear from Test Engineer Supervisor's :
- Who have experience as an Inspection/Test Engineer or practical experience in an electrical manufacturing environment.
- Have a minimum qualification of C&G or NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installations.
- Can read electrical wiring diagrams (supply & instrumentation).
- PLC experience would be an advantage.
- Basic knowledge and ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
THE OFFER for the role of Test Engineer Supervisor :
- Salary 40,000 Per Annum , 37.5hrs working week.
- Premium rates for overtime after 37.5hrs.
