I am looking for a Test Equipment Hardware Engineer who will contribute to the innovation and maintenance of cutting-edge Underwater Weapon Test Equipment.

This role will see you collaborating with the Torpedo Test team to deliver upgrades and support for Spearfish and Sting Ray Test Equipment at prestigious MoD sites.

This role will give you the chance to showcase your expertise in Automatic Test Equipment hardware and become a vital part of a dynamic team, influencing design obsolescence tasks and ensuring optimal performance.

Responsibilities:

• Assist Lead Test Equipment Engineer for day-to-day activities, ensuring equipment availability
• Diagnose, survey, and maintain a variety of Special to Type and COTS Test Equipment
• Influence design obsolescence tasks, implementing new hardware
• Compile and approve designs, changes, tasks, and concessions

Skills and Experience:

• Proficient in Automatic Test Equipment hardware, including COTS instrumentation
• Maintain design standard of in-service Test Equipment
• Experience in routine delivery of Test Equipment at local and customer sites
• Potential Design Authority for specified Test Equipment items
• Conduct electrical investigations into Test equipment issues
