Test Lead - Contract

I am working with a Financial Services organisation based in Cavan who is looking for a Test Lead for a 12 month contract with possible extension.

This role offers an opportunity to work with a well-known organisation as well as a competitive daily rate of €500 per day and remote working.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a team of testers, encouraging success and efficiency
• Create test cases to identify areas that require improvement in line with the test plan for both automated and manual testing .
• Work with other technical teams in order to complete project specific testing in line with agreed deadlines.
• Use debugging tools to identify and isolate potential bugs
• Develop a testing strategy that will cover all stages of the developmental lifecycle.

Requirements:

• Experience of working in an agile environment, analysing complex solutions and creating the appropriate test strategies
• Strong UAT testing and management experience
• Experience of working with a variety of software languages e.g. Python
• Proven ability to lead a team
