In this pivotal role, you'll play a vital role in supporting the success of our civil demonstrator test program. You'll leverage your civil engineering expertise to ensure the efficient delivery and execution of work packages, ultimately contributing to the advancement of next-generation technologies.


Here's what you'll do:

• Under the guidance of a test lead, support the definition of work packages, including requirements definition, concept design, analysis, and testing specifications, depending on the specific test requirements.
• Utilize your civil engineering knowledge, particularly in concrete and pre-cast concrete, to act as an "intelligent customer" and ensure successful delivery of work packages.
• Provide technical support to stakeholders during governance reviews, showcasing the maturity of the Test Rig design and testing processes.
• Collaborate with the supply chain to guarantee crucial information is documented and effectively communicated.
• Proficiently gather, analyze, and present technical data in a clear and engaging manner, including creating official reports for relevant parties.

We're looking for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment and possesses the following:

• Solid Civil Engineering Background: Significant experience in civil engineering or a relevant technical degree (e.g., BEng, MEng) is required.
• Professional Recognition: Ideally, hold membership in a professional body at the CEng level or above, or demonstrate clear progress towards achieving this status.
• Testing Expertise: Experience in conducting test programs to ensure they generate the necessary validation or verification data, including through scaled tests or sub-element testing.
• Risk Management Proactive: Possess the ability to identify potential risks or challenges early on and proactively implement solutions with minimal supervision.
• Safety Champion: Lead by example and promote a strong safety culture by encouraging positive safety practices and respectfully challenging others' actions when necessary.

Citizenship Requirement: Due to the nature of the work, candidates must be a UK citizen, EU citizen, or possess a valid work permit.
