Our partner is a national, but family owned aggregates organisation who do everything from quarrying stone to pouring concrete and they are searching for a technician at a location not far from Castle Donington.

What’s the package?

upto £30k per annum

25 days AL plus bank holidays

What will I be doing?

Working in a lab environment you’ll be using machines to test the strength of concrete, asphalt and other aggregate samples and recording the results.

You’ll receive full training, but you’ll need to be able to show basic IT skills on spreadsheets.

It needs someone who likes detail and accuracy, the results you record have big implications for safety and profits.

If there’s a problem you need to be able to communicate it accurately to managers. Can you communicate in detail?

Fundamentally though, if you take a lot of pride in your work, are really reliable and looking to build a future, then this is the role for you.
