Contract Duration: Temporary until 31/12/2025

Role Purpose

Scottish Borders Council are currently recruiting to their Promise Team which works across the multi-agency Children and Young People's partnership to deliver The Promise across the Scottish Borders.

The core purpose of the Promise Quality and Improvement Officer is to improve outcomes for children, young people and families in need of additional support across the Scottish Borders.  The post holder will, in collaboration with other agencies and team members, be responsible for the planning, co-ordination and monitoring of multi-agency approaches quality assurance and service development across the Scottish Borders Children and Young People Planning Partnership.

The post holder will also provide support and expertise for areas of strategy, policy or practice development across the partnership, as determined by the Children and Young People Planning Partnership.

 

Essential

 A qualification to diploma or degree level within a discipline related to role (e.g. professional social work qualification, recognised by the SSSC - Degree in Social Work, DipSW, CQSW / a Degree (B.Ed/PGCE/PGDE) or Diploma in Primary Teaching, etc.).


Significant front-line experience of working with children, young people and their families.

A current driving licence and use of a vehicle is an essential requirement of this post.
