Theatre flys technician

Location: Leeds
Contract Type: Permanent
Job Type: Full-time, Variable hours as required to fulfil the role, but normally between 28 and 55 per week, with Overtime.
Salary:  between £27,528.72 and £29,131.56 per annum.Depending on experience. Additional overtime is applicable to this post and is paid in line with the prevailing in-house agreement

FLY's TECHNICIAN

Committed to producing high-quality work that informs, excites and entertains, Our client is looking for an experienced and well-motivated individual to fill the role of Fly's Technician.

The successful candidate will have extensive counterweight fly and rigging experience. Experience with automated flying systems would be an advantage, but training will be provided. You will have excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritise under pressure. You will primarily be involved in the flying, rigging and building of scenery, and the flying of lighting, sound, and AV equipment for productions in rehearsal studios, mainstages, and on tour. Between theatre seasons you will undertake the maintenance of flying and rigging equipment and any other duties as required. Excellent knowledge of Health and Safety at work is essential.
