Theatre Porter

Location: Winfield Hospital, Gloucester

Hours: 37.5 hours, Full-time

Salary: Depending on experience + Benefits

Summary:

Winfield Hospital is one of Gloucestershire's leading private hospitals, located on the outskirts of the City of Gloucester. It is situated off the Northern Ring Road with excellent road and rail links. The hospital opened in 1992 and we provide high quality care in a clean and friendly environment.

The role:

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Theatre Porter to join our friendly and supportive team at the Winfield Hospital, base in Gloucester.

The role is physically demanding and involves working with Waste removal, Medical gas bottle changing, scanning consumables, handling and placing deliveries of stock, movement of patient trolleys and beds, taking in Laundry deliveries and plenty of other varied manual handling duties for which full training will be provided.

We are currently looking for a dynamic, self-motivated, computer literate person with good communication and interpersonal skills. You will have ideally worked in a similar Porter position previously, however full training will be given.
