The Role & Responsibilities

  • Supporting and building Power BI dashboards within the Data Visualization team
  • Learning and writing ad-hoc SQL queries for ad-hoc data analysis
  • Identify opportunities to automate existing reporting
  • Supporting daily, weekly, monthly business as usual ‘BAU’ tasks
  • Governance of the BI platform, monitoring dataflows, refreshes and dealing with access requests etc.
  • Produce accurate and timely cyclical and ad-hoc reporting
  • Writing requirement specs and documentation

The Person

  • GCSE grade 4/5, C or above in Maths and English are the only academic attainment entry requirement to join us on the programme.
  • Information & Technology GCSE (Desirable)
  • You must be aged 17 or over at start of the programme in September 2024, no longer in full-time education and eligible to work in the UK.
  • Ideally working knowledge of MS Office applications, an understanding of how spreadsheets and data packages can be used to analyse data (not essential)
  • Any experience or qualifications which reflect a use of data or analytics are welcomed.
