We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Thrombosis Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our dynamic team. As a Clinical Nurse Specialist in Thrombosis you'll play a pivotal role in providing expert care and support to patients dealing with clotting disorders.
This position offers an exciting opportunity to lead and influence patient care, collaborate with the interdisciplinary teams and contribute to advancements in Thrombosis management.
Assess, diagnose and manage patients with thrombotic conditions.
Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with healthcare teams.
Provide expert guidance, education and support to patients and families.
Monitor patient progress, response to treatment and manage any complications.
Lead and participate in educational programs for healthcare professionals and patients.
Conduct research, contribute to quality improvement initiatives and stay updated with advancements in thrombosis care.
Advocate for best practices in thrombosis prevention and management
Liverpool University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust was created on 1 October 2019 following the merger of two adult acute Trusts, Aintree University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust and the Royal Liverpool and Broadgreen University Hospitals NHS Trust.
