Reports to: Head of Ticketing

Working Hours: Full time, Mon-Fri plus onsite working as required

Contract type: Fixed term until Sept 2024

Role Description

The Ticketing Assistant is a key position in the day to day running of the Ticketing Department across the Outdoor Summer events. This role will be administratively focused with some Operational responsibilities; guestlist management, ticket agent close offs, coordinating customer event emails, and ensuring all Box Offices are stocked appropriately across all sites amongst any other ad hoc duties to support the Ticketing Team.

The role demands flexibility working to numerous deadlines throughout the day. You will need to maintain a high level of accuracy and efficiency whilst assisting with all aspects of ticketing for the company. Some on site work may be required.

The Cuffe and Taylor team are a group of driven individuals with the ability to deliver large scale stadium tours, multi night festivals and many theatre tours running throughout the year. Our outdoor portfolio has recently expanded to cover 18 sites across the UK hosting a diverse array of artists from Korn to Shania Twain.

The Ticketing department is a tight knit team, balancing a hard-working attitude with an open and supportive approach to help encourage each other and achieve wins as a team.

Who you are

Competencies / Skills / Knowledge / Experience

  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Advanced knowledge and experience with Microsoft Excel and Outlook
  • Highly motivated - ability to work deadlines and achieve targets in a time conscious manner.
  • Strong and effective communication skills
  • Experience in working in a busy working environment.
  • Experience in Events industry, Box offices or Ticketing is desirable.
  • Experience working with ticket agents and using ticket reporting programmes is desirable. EG. TM1, Universe, SEE Tickets, etc.

What the role includes

  • Developing the guest list documentation and procedures across all outdoor sites
  • Collating and issuing all guest list tickets in a timely fashion, ensure customers are sent all relevant information before shows.
  • Process industry ticket buys from record labels and key contacts.
  • Supporting the Ticketing team in ticket agent close offs and supplying barcodes to box office teams
  • Managing pre-event information email distribution across all sites and events
  • Ensuring box offices are sufficiently stocked for event days.
  • Creating ticket stock sheets for operational use across show days.
  • On site support of the ticketing team as and when required
