Working on behalf of my client, Interaction Recruitment have a great opportunity for an experienced TIG Welder to work for a Precision Engineering company based in Wetherby.

This role is all about the precision and integrity of the Welds performed so won’t suit every TIG Welder. The role will include both the manufacturing and the refurbishing of products and tools. This can include the refurbishing of very small tools which will require extremely small and precise Welds. Therefore, good and extensive TIG Welding experience is vital to this role as well as knowledge of working with Stainless Steel, Mild Steel, Super Duplex Steel and Aluminium.

Other key skills you need include:

-Working to ISO15614-1:2017 welding procedures and specifications

-Must be able to read and work from Technical/Schematic Drawings

-Ability to visually inspect work

-Maintain a tidy workplace in line with company 5S procedures

-Flexibility to work additional hours where required

The core working hours for this role are 37hrs per week, 7.30am-5.15pm from Monday to Thursday. Overtime is always available and is paid at Time + 1/3 on weekdays and Time + ½ on Saturdays. The starting salary for the role is between £29k (£15p/hr) and £32k (£16.60p/hr) Depending on Experience and the role is advertised as Permanent.
