Job summary
An opportunity has arisen for a Timetabling Manager to join a busy team who will lead and manage the Business School’s timetabling function, including the management and utilisation of the timetable software.
Duties and responsibilities
To ensure the production of a timely and accurate timetable, you will implement and deliver all aspects of the timetabling and room bookings functions for the Business School’s 35 streams of Undergraduate and Postgraduate Programmes. Additionally, considering the needs of Executive Education across the Business School. Ensuring the optimum allocation of space and the provision of accurate, timely information and advice to staff and students.
You will also identify, develop and improve the timetabling processes to enhance the students experience by working with the Central Timetabling Support Office (CTSO) by implementing dynamic solutions to identified issues and make improvements to current practices and timetabling policy.
Essential requirements
This role requires excellent organisational ability in all aspects of operational planning and timetable production. You must be educated to degree level or higher and possess relevant professional experience in a timetabling administration role. You must have excellent organisational skills, with the ability to organise data with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. The ability to work well under pressure is a must-have, as well as a proven track record of achieving set targets and deadlines. Excellent interpersonal skills including negotiating, influencing and relationship building at all levels are essential.
We are looking for applicants with good MS Office skills. Relevant professional experience in Higher Education would be advantageous.
