Fire Trade Supervisor
Ely based with a balance of home and office working - Covering the East fire region
£41,908 - £44,114 per year
40 hours per week – Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 17:00pm
We are looking for a Fire Trade Supervisor to join our team based in Ely. As Fire Trade Supervisor you will coordinate between the planners, & Operations Manager and your team on a daily basis to plan the operative’s workload. A company van will be provided for company use and the role will have opportunities to develop your career further.
The role of Fire Trade Supervisor will include:
- Managing a team of 6 Trade Operatives across multiple sites, ensuring that high quality work is carried out
- Review PPM and remedials works are planned
- Ensuring health and safety regulations are adhered to at all times
- Completing site surveys and meeting with clients to continuously improve our services
- Processing orders for materials and managing resources effectively
- Developing and maintaining effective working relationships with internal and external customers
- Assisting with the recruitment, performance management and development of staff
Skills and experiences:
- Demonstrable experience of managing/supervising staff within a fire and security environment
- Working knowledge of the application of Health and Safety legislation
- Proficient in Microsoft Office packages, specifically Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook (or similar)
- This role will involve driving on company business. In order to drive a company vehicle, drivers must hold a full valid UK driving licence
