Partnerships Assistant– Part Time
Office base dependant on successful candidates’ location
£14,352 - £17,178 per year
22.5 hours per week
We have an opportunity for a Partnerships Assistant to join our Partnerships team. As a Partnerships Assistant you will join a small team which is spread across the country working with customers and community organisations to encourage community action in Sanctuary’s key neighbourhoods. We bring people together in local areas to share their ideas and support them to bring their ideas to life. The support we provide includes guidance and support as well as grant funding.
The ideal candidate might be working in a school, community or voluntary organisation, or within a housing association. You will understand the value of investing in communities to support community led action.
The role of Partnerships Assistant will include:
- Liaising with team members and community partners to support the smooth running of our activities administratively
- Coordinating grant paperwork and evaluation reports
- Supporting the administration of our community centres e.g. hire agreements and invoicing
- Arranging meetings online and in person and organising payments
- Visiting our community projects and meeting customers and community groups
Skills and experiences:
- Proficient user of Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, Outlook and Teams
- Familiarity with Microsoft Forms and the MS 365 environment would be an advantage
- Confident talking to colleagues, customers and organisations in person, by email and on the phone
- Previous experience in a community or voluntary organisation or a housing association would be useful
- An interest in community and voluntary work would be an advantage

- If South East pay £15,070 per annum (rising to £15,863 per annum after 12 months, subject to satisfactory performance), the full time equivalent salary for this role is £25,117 based on 37.5 hours per week rising to £26,439 after 12 months service and subject to satisfactory performance
- If London pay £16,320 per annum (rising to £17,178 per annum after 12 months, subject to satisfactory performance), the full time equivalent salary for this role is £27,200 based on 37.5 hours per week rising to £28,631 after 12 months service and subject to satisfactory performance
- If any other location pay £14,352 per annum (rising to £15,056 per annum after 12 months, subject to satisfactory performance), the full time equivalent salary for this role is £23,921 based on 37.3 hours per week rising to £25,108 after 12 months service and subject to satisfactory performance
