Team Secretary
Hindle House, Banbury
£26,836 - £28,248 per year
37.5 hours per week
We have an opportunity for a Team Secretary to join our Housing Income Services team based in Banbury. In this role you will be working with the Head of Income Services and Regional Income Managers to help support their day-to-day work, support with projects, organising diary commitments, managing emails and post, attending meetings to take minutes and actions, editing board reports, managing escalation processes, liaising with local teams to ensure key actions are completed, approving work items and recording performance information.
The ideal candidate will require a high degree of personal integrity and confidentiality to help support the Head of Income Services and Regional Income Manager’s work which routinely include sensitive or confidential mail.
The role of Team Secretary will include:
- Coordinating administrative tasks, including communication to MP’s and their case workers
- Liaising with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders
- Collating performance information
- Supporting ad hoc projects
- General administrative tasks to include; meeting preparation, minute taking, accommodation and travel booking, ordering and internal post activities
Skills and experiences:
- Ability to multi-task and effectively prioritise workload to meet deadlines
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal, confidently liaising with stakeholders at all levels
- Recent experience within a similar role in a housing or local authority environment would be desirable
- Excellent interpersonal skills allowing you to build strong working relationships
- A proactive working nature with the ability to work on your own initiative
- Proficient user of all Microsoft packages
- Occasional travel may be requirement of the role, therefore a full valid driving licence is desirable
