Technical Customer Care Manager

 

Home Based

 

£56,718 - £65,673 per year plus Company car or car allowance

 

35 hours per week

 

We are looking for an ambitious and driven individual with excellent technical knowledge and experience within the building industry to take on this exciting opportunity as Technical Customer Care Manager.

 

You will join a large Construction team within the wider Development function. The team are responsible for delivering new build residential development projects for the Group. As a Technical Customer Care Manager, you will lead on complex technical issues arising post completion of the works on a national basis.  You will also assist our regional teams to identify non-compliance, design and quality issues for projects under construction.

 

The role of Technical Customer Care Managerwill include:

  • Ensure all construction projects are delivered in line with legislative and regulatory requirements to ensure the delivery of high quality, safe and compliant homes and communities
  • Lead the implementation and monitoring of the technical functions of construction projects alongside policies, procedures and systems
  • Provide technical support, advice and expertise for all construction schemes
  • Build, manage and maintain relationships with internal and external customers, including consultants and contractors, identifying any shortfalls in service delivery and ensuring they are dealt with appropriately.
  • Provide regular, high quality reports to senior management demonstrating compliance, identifying areas for improvement and making proposals to address any shortfalls in delivery.
  • Manage the control of documents between all parties of the project throughout all construction phases, collate and issue final documents at the completion of projects

 

Skills and experiences:

  • Degree, management qualification or relevant professional qualification or knowledge and ability at an equivalent level
  • HND in Building or Construction or other relevant discipline or knowledge and ability at an equivalent level
  • NEBOSH Construction Certificate
  • Excellent interpersonal and Customer Care skills
  • Recent experience in undertaking a similar role
  • Proven experience in analysing and diagnosing problems and implementing effective solutions
  • Working knowledge of the construction and housing industries
  • This role will involve driving on company business. In order to drive a company vehicle, drivers must hold a full valid UK driving licence

  • Role Salary is dependent on successful candidates home location as below:
  • London - £62,382 per annum (rising to £65,673 per annum after 12 months, subject to satisfactory performance)
  • National - £56,718 per annum (rising to £59,703 per annum after 12 months, subject to satisfactory performance)
