Town Planner - Consultancy
Beach Baker is working with a unique and highly regarded Planning Consultancy in Bristol; best known for their commitment to the environment, tight knit team culture, and outstanding performances in all avenues undertaken.
This is a Town Planning role ideal for a current Assistant Town Planner looking for a step up, or a Town planner looking for a change in consultancy, and for someone that is looking to work for sizeable firm that can offer an impressive range of opportunities, alongside a friendly and supportive working environment.
The Role
This position will be filled with projects and schemes across the Southwest, and although duties will be dependent on the teams needs and ambitions, your role will be based on creating and actioning planning application strategies, utilising your knowledge and experience of planning policy and legislation, and providing the highest standard of advice to a range of clients in different sectors.
There will also be an aspect of working across alternative departments, which so far have allowed this firm to combine a wealth of skills and experiences from a variety of property and real estate specialists, creating one of the strongest and most collaborative Town Planning divisions within the Southwest.
Essential Criteria
- At least 1-2 years' experience within a UK based Town Planning role.
- Have ambitions gain chartership (MRTPI)
- A Town Planning degree with RTPI Accreditation
- A desire to learn and progress.
Desirable
- Residency in Bristol and familiarity with the local planning market.
- Driving License
