Role: Town Planner Location: Brighton Salary: £30000-£35000 We are proud to be representing one of the largest property consultancies in the whole country that has a network of over 60 offices in the United Kingdom. Working across multiple sectors including Residential, Commercial, Farms & Land, Planning, Valuations. Due to an increase in projects are now looking for an Assistant Planner to join the office in the Sussex area. Essential Criteria for a Town Planner: Degree and/or Masters in Town or Spatial Planning. Chartered Member of the RTPI or working towards Chartership. Exposure to public or private sector. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Self-motivated with a can-do attitude. Full driving licence and use of own car. Responsibilities and Duties of a Town Planner: Assessing the potential of site for a range of developments, identifying opportunities and constraints, and advising clients as such. Preparation and coordination of planning (and associated) applications including the drafting of supporting statements. Liaising with internal and external technical specialties, clients and Local Planning Authorities. Preparation of fee proposals and management of project budgets.
