Area to be covered: Northern Home Counties, Anglia & Part of the East Midlands

(Essex, Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Northamptonshire, Cambridgeshire, Suffolk, Norfolk, Leicestershire, Lincolnshire)
Remuneration: £47,000neg + £13,000 bonus & uncapped commissions

The role of the Area Sales Manager - Blinds /& Shutters will involve:

• Field sales position selling a range of distributed and manufactured range of Blinds & Shutters
• All of time will be spent selling to the trade via: independent showrooms, retailers, window / blind fitters, installers and contractors
• Will be a smaller element of the role dealing with blind manufacturers
• Inheriting a well establish area currently turnover circa £4m
• Will be given 300 accounts
• Will spent the majority of your time managing these accounts and developing new business within them
• Managing a variety of situations to ensure a positive outcome is always achieved
• Providing product training to customers to increase product demand and sales

The ideal applicant will be a Area Sales Manager - Blinds /& Shutters with:

• Must have field sales experience in the interiors sector
• Must have sold to "the trade" won’t consider B2C sales experience
• Ideally from a blinds, shutters, curtains, carpet, wall coverings, flooring, tiles, kitchens, bedrooms, bathrooms product background
• Must be able to manage between 250+ accounts
• Strong organisational and administration skills
• Comfortable with working autonomously
• Hard working professional attitude with good analytical skills
