SalaryHoneycomb is delighted to be working with our client, a reputable building supply business, to recruit for a Trade Counter Assistant, on a full-time, permanent basis. The business has grown exponentially over recent years with plans for further expansion, making this an exciting time to become an integral part of the time. This is the ideal position for someone who thrives on customer interaction and is keen to develop their career.
The role of Trade Counter Assistant includes helping customers at first point within a friendly, supportive working environment. You will be responsible for leading the sales order process and also assist customers via phone or email when required. This is a varied position requiring someone professional who possesses strong interpersonal skills. Product knowledge and the ability to retain new information is critical to this post as you will be advising on different customer requests daily. This is a fantastic position which offers the opportunity to build long-term relationships and to grow with the business
The right person for this role will possess excellent communication skills. You will have a professional demeanour and be passionate about being a part of new projects. The right person for this role will have the ability to retain product knowledge and advise customers professionally. You will ideally have experience managing inventory and have great attention to detail to ensure the store is presentable at all times.
The package for this role offers a salary of £11.50-£12.50 per hour, with attractive wider benefits. Full benefits can be discussed upon conversation with Honeycomb.
