Key Responsibilities:

  • Price and ticket merchandise to ensure accurate and appealing product display
  • Manage stock levels and resolve any 'out of stock' situations promptly
  • Provide exceptional customer service, always going above and beyond to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Effectively handle and resolve customer complaints with empathy and professionalism
  • Perform various administrative procedures, maintaining accurate records and documentation
  • Assist with the collection and distribution of goods, ensuring efficiency and accuracy
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organisation of the stock area, following health and safety guidelines
  • Cash up at the end of each shift, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail
  • Support and actively participate in sales promotions and marketing initiatives
  • Utilise the organisation's warehousing systems efficiently
  • Provide customers with accurate quotes as required
  • Maintain high standards of housekeeping in the retail area

Requirements:

  • A valid driving licence is essential for this role
  • Sound knowledge of Health & Safety legislation
  • Familiarity with information systems and proficient in using them effectively
  • Understanding of various products and their features
  • Strong customer orientation, with the ability to build rapport and provide exceptional service
  • Excellent negotiation and selling skills
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to adapt to a changing work environment and embrace new ways of working
