Job description
PHC Supplies are looking for an enthusiastic person to join our team, working on the Trade Counter and in the Stores.
The role consists of;
- Driving: delivery work to customers as required.
- Trade Counter: Serving Trade and Retail customers where knowledge / experience of plumbing and heating is preferred but not essential as on the job training will be provided to the right candidate.
- Stores work: Ordering stock / customer orders, unpacking and checking off deliveries, sending out orders via courier, maintaining a well-organised stores, stocktaking and associated computer work and paperwork.
- Telephone sales: dealing with enquiries from customers.
Required work experience/skills;
- Full clean UK Driving Licence is essential.
- IT proficient with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Outlook for dealing with emails and stock control system.
- Good telephone manner with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients and suppliers at all levels of operation.
- Conscientious, tidy and hard working. Organised and efficient with a strong attention to detail.
Desired work experience/skills:
- Trade Counter experience in a similar environment would be preferred but we would be happy to consider you if you are prepared to put in the hard work to learn.
- Fork truck licence would be advantageous but not essential.

What we offer:
- Full time, permanent role Monday to Friday (7:30am – 5pm) and Saturday mornings on a rota basis (8am – 12pm) – roughly two Saturdays in four.
- 20 days holiday (plus Bank Holidays). Increasing annually to a maximum of 25days.
