This is a great opportunity for a reliable, responsible, and professional Vehicle Collection and Delivery Driver to join their team on a full-time, self-employed basis.
About the role:
This self-employed role involves collecting and delivering vehicles across the United Kingdom and utilising public transport to move between planned jobs with all expenses reimbursed in full.
As a self-employed driver, you will keep vehicles on your driveway overnight. Your working day will start from home at 6-6:30am (this will vary day to day) and deliver the first vehicle by 9 am. You'll use public transport for an average of 1.5-2 hours to the next planned collection. Upon completing your schedule of deliveries for that day, you will travel home with your day’s final vehicle by 5-6 pm, in readiness for your first delivery the following day.
Pay is per job, based on mileage, averaging £450/week, but higher earnings are possible. Pay and expenses are paid/reimbursed weekly, three weeks in arrears.
Requirements:
As you will be providing a professional, elite service, our client insists on a smart professional appearance. They will supply a jacket, tie, rucksack, hi-vis vest, Trade Plates and other useful items. You will provide the rest of the attire (gentlemen will be expected to wear a white collared shirt, dark trousers and shoes) and use your own smartphone to undertake the job.
You will also meet the following requirements:
- Full UK licence (manual and auto)
- 6 or less points on the licence
- No history of serious convictions such as IN, CD, DR, DG, or MS
- Private off-road parking with a dropped kerb access at the home address is a requirement
