Ryder Reid Legal is working closely with a US law firm to recruit an experienced Trademark Paralegal to join its IP group on a permanent basis.
The team is small and currently comprises of the Head of Department and a Secretary, therefore allowing the Paralegal to gain a very high level of exposure.
General duties include:
- Formalities work
- Docket entry and management
- Management of trade mark searches, trade mark and design prosecution, opposition and invalidity processes
- Provision of general assistance to the Intellectual Property department as required
- General assignment to other departments as required
To be considered, candidates MUST be CITMA qualified and have a minimum of 4 years' Trademark
and/or IP experience gained from a private practice environment. Docketing experience is also essential.
This role offers hybrid working (3 days in the office) and also has scope to be a part-time role (4 days a week) for a candidate looking for extra flexibility. There is also strong potential for progression in the role for the right candidate!
