The purpose of this exciting Trade Branch Manager role is to provide day to day managament of the branch, delivering an excellent customer service to clients and motivating and leading the team driving sales and profitability within the branch.. My client is a reputable growing family run business that rewards committed professionals that deliver excellent service and sales. They are looking for an driven sales customer service professional with good leadership experience, someone who wants to earn money and be rewarded with a long term stable career in a friendly small team and has a real passion to lead their branch to succeed and grow. They will provide training on their products but need you to have the true drive to change your earning potential and be a passionate team Branch Manager.

The ideal Trades Branch Manager candidate will have the following skills and experiences;

  • Trades industry experience is essential- trades experience of industries such as wholesale building services suppliers, construction wholesalers, builders merchants, plumbing supplies, plumbing trade, bathroom trades or similar would be of distinct interest
  • Commutable to Portsmouth (Southsea store) on a daily basis for this branch based full time permanent role (it is not remote, hybrid or part time)
  • Full UK driving licence to get to other Portsmouth sites when needed . The hours of work are 45 hours per week Monday to Friday 7.30am-5pm and every other Saturday 8am - 1pm. Please note as this is a Branch Manager role some flexibility with these hours is required.
  • Branch management, branch supervisory, similar depot /operational management experience within the trades industry or similar ideally
  • Excellent leadership, people management skills- you must be a motivating team leader that can achieve growth and sales from your team
  • Good understanding of health and safety and operations skills
  • Passionate about motivating and developing people and driving sales, growth and profitability
  • Experience and driven to deliver an excellent and outstanding level of customer service - you must have a flexible, can do attitude
