Our Trading Compliance Department is seeking a confident and proactive Administrator to join their vibrant, close-knit team. You will be part of a team that manages and shapes all aspects of health and safety, food safety, fire safety and environmental protection policy within Lidl.
This engaging role offers responsibility and variety within a department that ensures the company's trading and regulatory compliance requirements are met efficiently and effectively. If you are a talented multi-tasker with a natural flair for administration, this could be the ideal role for you.
This role supports the business in the broad disciplines of Food Safety, Health & Safety & Trading Standards; knowledge of these areas would be an advantage however we offer a comprehensive training and development plan which will give you the skills to perform your role.
We have moved to a hybrid working model with a recommended 2 days in the office per week for appropriate Head Office and Regional roles, empowering our teams to choose how and where they work best. We feel it is important that, where possible, we offer our colleagues as much flexibility as possible and trust our teams to determine the right environments that work most effectively for them.
What you'll do
- Preparing executive management reports and summaries, consolidating documents and overviews
- Contractor management and performance review
- Invoice processing
- Regular communication with local authorities
- Liaising with other Head Office Departments as well as external contractors
- Organising and preparing for meetings and events for Trading Compliance department
- Managing incoming telephone calls, emails and post
- Other ad hoc administrative tasks
What you'll need
- Fluency in English, both written and verbal is essential
- Proven administrative experience with good working proficiency of Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- A strong multi-tasker who genuinely enjoys working to schedules and deadlines
- Able to work independently, managing conflicting priorities with ease and efficiency
- An excellent communicator with exceptional organisational abilities
- An unwavering eye for detail supported by strong literacy and numeracy skills
- Motivated and proactive with an eagerness to learn and develop
