A leading Food Retailer and Wholesaler in the North West of the UK is looking to recruit a Trading Executive to support the team responsible for the sales and profits across a number of their grocery / food ranges.
You will be responsible for supporting the senior trading Team to ensure continued growth within the category. As a Trading Executive, you will need to be driven and dynamic and thrive working in a fast-paced retail environment. Some of your responsibilities will include.
- Building, managing and retaining strong Supplier relationships.
- Understanding product lines and relative timeframes
- Liaising with internal customers, suppliers and other departments
- Agreeing pricing & analysing figures within Excel
- Dealing with site and supplier queries
- Maintaining order data records and files
- Generating reports
Key requirement for the role;
- Experience of Trading / Buying within a retail / FMCG environment .
- Highly accurate with a good attention to detail
- Ability to manage a varied workload with conflicting deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to liaise effectively at all levels.
- Good level of education
- Excellent understanding of all MS Office products specifically Excel
