Working hours: 35h p/ week, Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm (1h lunch break)
Who You'll Be Working for: Global trading company of soft commodities.
What You'll be Doing Each Day:
The person will work closely with the Director and Europe Commercial Manager to support trade and logistics operations. As part of the Operations team, this person will assist in ensuring compliance of supply chain requirements for imports of organic and speciality sugars to customers in Europe.
Responsibilities:
- Managing purchases and sales contract execution (calling forward, allocations).
- Managing stocks in various warehouses across Europe.
- Managing and reporting the overall trading position to Commercial Team.
- Sending samples to customers.
- Sending certifications and documentations to customers.
- Following up customers’ requests.
- Following shipments from origin FOB to destination.
- Booking containers with forwarders and/or shipping lines.
- Processing and raising invoices for the goods and costs (FRT, TRP, INS, FOBBING, Packaging).
- Assistance with the Quality portfolio Client contract tenders (Suppliers QA questionnaires).
- Organic and fair trade annual audit requirements.
- Client organic audit requirements.
The Skills You'll Need to Succeed:
- Logistics experience in soft commodities.
- Shipping documentation knowledge.
- Stock control.
- Attention to detail.
- Great communication skills with internal as well as external stake holders of the business.
- Excellent customer service.
- Computer literate.
- ITAS system - would be a plus.
- Languages: English fluent; Spanish, Italian, French, German - would be a bonus.
