About the Role:
Our client, a Financial Organisation in London is seeking an individual to join the Market Operations team who will be able to provide first-line supervision to ensure effective and efficient operations.
The purpose of this role will be to provide support for the determination of the client's Futures reference prices as well as ensuring conformity to their Dealing Regulations and Code of Conduct.
This will be an initial 6-month contract which will be suited to a candidate who can work 3 days onsite in London and 2 days remote.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting day-to-day functions including all user admin functions
- Ensuring reference prices meet the commercial and regulatory requirements
- Supporting the Pricing Committee for the determination of Official and Closing Prices
- Daily procedures around the Error Trade Policy and Dynamic Price Bands
- Regularly updating on relevant pricing-related matters - ensuring reference prices are transmitted accurately
- Dealing with Stakeholder queries
- Recommending and promoting enhancements - (price discovery procedures)
Desirable Knowledge & Experience:
- A reasonable knowledge of Market Terminology
- Understanding of the forward curve
- Basic understanding of electronic trading
- Basic understanding of Trading Regulations

- Accurate numerical skills
Qualifications Required:
- Minimum of five GCSEs with a grade C or above for Maths and English
