Trading Standards Officer -Citizen And Consumer Protection

We have an exciting opportunity to recruit to the position of Trading Standards Officer (Vapes and other age restricted products) into our Trading Standards Team.
We are fortunate to have secured funding for a Trading Standards Officer to join us on a temporary basis until March 2025.

The successful candidate will be focus on vapes and other age restricted products and support the planning and delivery of this important area of work. If have experience of dealing with age restricted products from any environment we would like to hear from you.

Requirements

• Consumer Protection Degree (equivalent degrees must include criminal or civil law module), or
• Diploma in Consumer Affairs with additional part 2 papers, or
• Diploma in Trading Standards (including. all antecedents.
• Or able to demonstrate minimum of 12 months experience of enforcing Trading Standards legislation.
