Job Title: Traffic Marshall Operative

Salary: £15.00 per hour,
Working Hours: Monday – Friday: 7.30am – 6.00pm

Description of the role:
The role requires the successful candidate to ensure the safe movement of large vehicles around the construction site, maintain security on-site and preserve public traffic routes.
Opportunity to work for a well-respected national logistics company with sites all over London. Scope for progression to supervisory level.
Key responsibilities:
- Receive the daily briefing from the Traffic Marshall Supervisor
- Ensure all delivery drivers receive the delivery driver induction/rules briefing
- Bank vehicles to their allocated loading bay
- Control pedestrian / vehicle segregation and ensure pathways are closed and opened correctly with appropriate signage when a delivery is entering and exiting
- Ensure that the pathways are swept regularly to ensure housekeeping is of the highest standard
- Ensure there are no trip hazards left on the pathway
- Ensure you wear the correct PPE that has been issued
Qualifications and experience required:
- Must hold a valid CPCS Plant and Vehicle Marshaller A73 card
- Some exposure to a construction environment or experience at a site
- Evidence of reliability and successfully working as part of a team
