Job Overview:
We are seeking a Qualified Pharmacy Dispenser. Looking for MINIMUM 2 YEARS EXPERIENCE. Dedicated and detail-oriented to join our team on a full-time basis. As a Qualified Pharmacy Dispenser, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accurate and timely dispensing of medications to our customers. Your responsibilities will include preparing and packaging prescription medications, maintaining accurate records, and providing exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
- Preparing MDS Trays.
- Package medications appropriately, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory guidelines.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment in accordance with pharmacy standards.
- Assist with inventory management, including ordering and restocking medications and supplies.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries and concerns with professionalism and courtesy.
- Collaborate with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to ensure the safe and effective use of medications.
- Adhere to all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies governing the pharmacy operations.
Qualifications:
- If Dispenser- Certificate of completion of training of a GPhC accredited course (Level 2/NVQ2 etc.)
- If NVQ3 - Registration with the GPhC
- If ACT - Registration with the GPhC and Accredited ACT training certificate
- Proven experience as a Pharmacy Dispenser or similar role in a healthcare setting.
- Excellent Communication Skills & Team work is required.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in dispensing medications.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
- Effective communication and customer service skills.
- Knowledge of pharmacy laws, regulations, and procedures.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle stressful situations with composure.
Working Hours:
This is a full-time position with 40 Hours per week. The candidate must be flexible to work during Monday- Friday 9am-6pm. However future weekend availability will be needed.
