Due to the intricate nature of these units, the production process is segmented into various stages.

We are looking to bring on board multiple enthusiastic individuals who can demonstrate a good level of proficiency in using hand and power tools, either from past employment, education or personal hobbies.

The Role

As a Trainee Aerospace Fitter, your responsibilities will include:

• Learning to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Utilizing a variety of hand & power tools.
• Participating in cutting, bonding, and shaping materials to precise dimensions.
• Use of adhesives and fillers.
• Possible involvement with CNC machines.
• Consistently assessing the quality of completed work.
• Preparing units for spraying through sanding & smoothing.

Suitability

While no prior aerospace experience is necessary for these Trainee Aerospace Fitting roles, it is recommended the successful candidate will be able to showcase a certain level of competence in hand and power tool usage.
