Job Description
You will begin your journey as a Trainee, working closely with your fellow colleagues and manager in your first 6-12 months as you become established within your role and the industry.
As a trainee, you will be responsible for the full process of arranging a charter flight. From understanding the client’s intricate needs and sourcing the most suitable aircraft, to arranging the finer details like catering and ground transportation, you’ll be a key part of our client journey from start to finish.
You will have a blank canvas to build your own portfolio of clients and will not be limited geographically or by industry sector.
This is a competitive sales role, where our bespoke customer service is unrivalled. No prior experience in aviation is required, although sales experience is preferable. You will be provided with full training to develop your career however, a hunger and desire to learn is key.
Your responsibilities
· Working closely with the Business Development & Marketing teams, you will have complete freedom to identify and develop new areas of business around the world, proactively generating your own leads and the handling of enquiries.
· A strong enthusiasm to succeed, with a hardworking and flexible attitude – this isn’t your “normal 9-5”.
· Outstanding communication skills, maintaining and developing both client and supplier relationships.
· The ability to thrive under pressure, with a strong resilience to multi-task and manage your own time and workload.
· Being a team player, means being part of our on-call team, providing a 24hr response to incoming requests out of hours.
· Must be able to travel abroad and often at short notice, attending industry events and global conferences.
What Smart Aviation can deliver in return
Starting salary between £30,000 - £35,000pa (depending on experience)
10% uncapped commission (15% commission on first booking for new business)
Clear path for career progression from Trainee to Senior roles

20 days holiday + bank holidays (increase +1 day, per year, up to a maximum 25 days).
