Trainee Casemaker (Corrugated)

Manpower print and packaging division are looking to recruit a new member of staff for one of our prestigious partners, a leading manufacturer in Leicester. They specialise in high-quality packaging solutions for various industries, and we are currently seeking a motivated General Shopfloor Operative to join us on a temporary basis with the potential for permanent placement.

Position Overview:

As a General Shopfloor Operative, you will play a crucial role in supporting our production team. Your primary responsibilities will include assisting in feeding the machines, palletising, and providing general support across the shop floor. The role is designed to provide exposure to various aspects of our operations, with the goal of training and transitioning into the role of a Casemaker Operator.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in feeding machines and ensuring smooth operation.
• Palletise finished products efficiently and accurately.
• Maintain a clean and organised work area.
• Always follow safety protocols and guidelines.
• Learn and develop skills necessary for the role of a Casemaker Operator.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve production targets.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment preferred but not essential.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Good communication skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Flexibility to work Monday to Thursday 08:00am - 4:30pm and Monday to Friday 06:00am - 2:00pm.
