Trainee Chef

This role may include working on your own in quieter situations..

Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Creativity for preparing interesting and innovative dish and recipe ideas, we would ask the new team members to come up with some menu ideas and cook and plate each element of the dish then produce a recipe card to go along with it.

Decision making to make decisions quickly and efficiently. The kitchen is a fast-paced environment, and a chef has to make numerous decisions at once in order to ensure that orders all leave the kitchen in a timely order.

Organisational skills - our trainee chefs would be responsible for the safe food handling on a daily basis. This includes receiving incoming goods, ensuring food is labelled with date stock rotated accordingly.

Critical thinking in a fast paced environments.
