SalaryABC Teachers are recruiting Trainee Cover Supervisors for Secondary schools in Derby. No experience is required as all training is provided by ABC Teachers. The role is fully flexible with both full and part time positions available.
About the roleThe desired candidate would be working in the capacity of a Cover supervisor, providing vital support to both teachers and pupils. This can either be full or part-time dependent on your circumstances.
The suitable candidate would be provided with the appropriate training and support for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage the classroom in the absence of the regular teacher.
- Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans and ensure a positive learning environment.
- Maintain discipline and manage behaviour in accordance with school policies.
- Foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere conducive to learning.
- Adapt quickly to different subjects and year groups as required.

To be considered for the role of Trainee School Cover Supervisor you will:
- Live in the UK, Have the right to work in the UK and have a good standard of spoken and Written English.
- Have a warm and friendly nature to be able to build positive relationships with pupils.
- Ability to obtain suitable references, a valid DBS Check and hold the Right to Work in the UK (ABC Teachers do not offer sponsorship)
- Be willing to work in Mainstream secondary school settings in the capacity of a Cover Supervisor
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
