If you’re interested in sustainability, technology and practical working, send in a copy of your CV.ResponsibilitiesThe successful applicant will be given a company van and will be visiting customers’ homes, looking for possible water leaks within the property.Full training will be given by both Aqualogic and Yorkshire Water.As a Customer Leakage Field Technician, your primary responsibility will be to identify and locate water leaks on the customer's side of the water supply system. This crucial role contributes to water conservation efforts and helps customers reduce their water bills and minimize water waste.Key Responsibilities:You’ll be working for Aqualogic be embedded within the Yorkshire Water Customer Leakage team, carrying out the following activities:Leak Detection: Utilise leak detection methods and equipment to identify and pinpoint leaks on the customer's side of the water supply system.Inspections: Conduct on-site inspections of residential and commercial properties to assess water leakage and wastage issues as well as taking meter readings.Data Collection: Collect and record data related to water usage, leakage rates, and potential causes of leaks, including plumbing, fixtures, and infrastructure.Customer Communication: Interact with customer in a courteous and professional manner, explaining the nature of leaks, providing recommendations for repair, and educating them on the leak repair process & procedures.Documentation: Maintain detailed records of activities, repair work, and communication with customers, ensuring accurate reporting.Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines, ensuring the safety of yourself, colleagues, and customers during fieldwork.Collaboration: Work closely with other field technicians, customer service teams, and management to coordinate efficient responses to customer-side leaks.Weekend Work: Occasional weekend work may be required.Qualifications:• Educational: GCSEs including Maths and English• Full UK driving licence: essential (a company vehicle will be provided)Skills:• Driving: Essential• Excellent Communicator: Essential• Enjoys working with customers: Essential• Basic computer literacyExperience:• Customer service, consultancy or advisory• Working within a busy and demanding environment• Data collation via an app on a mobile device• Customer liaisonBenefits• Competitive package.• Opportunities for career advancement within our growing company.• Comprehensive training and development programs.• Contributing to environmental conservation and sustainable water use.• A supportive and collaborative work environment.Join the team at Aqualogic and play a pivotal role in reducing water wastage, preserving precious resources, and providing valuable assistance to our customers.
