We are on the lookout for a Trainee Dental Nurseto join our wonderful team in Shipley and begin your journey to becoming a Qualified Dental Nurse via the apprenticeship route!

We provide a wide range of services in our dental centres, giving our patients a variety of options and the opportunity for you to work with a range of treatments such as general dentistry, dental implants, orthodontics, composite bonding, veneers, oral surgery, facial aesthetics and more!
The Role:
As a Dental Nurse your daily tasks will include;
- Providing excellent care for all patients ensuring they have a great experience when visiting the dental centre.
- Providing chair side assistance to the clinicians during all dental procedures.
- Decontamination of instruments.
- Updating patient records and recording notes.
- Preparing instruments and materials for various treatment.
- Maintaining equipment.
- Decontamination of surgeries to a high level, maintaining strict cross infection controls.
You will be supported day to day by the Lead Dental Nurse & Dental Nurse Mentor who will provide you with advice and guidance to develop the skills and knowledge you require for a successful dental nursing career.
The ideal candidate:
Experience is not necessary; however, we are looking for an ambitious, hard-working and committed individual who is organised, reliable and computer literate. You will have a positive approach to work as well as a calm, confident and a reassuring manner with the ability to communicate and relate well with people.
We will support you to enrol onto a suitable Dental Nurse training programme if you are not already enrolled.
