We have an exciting trainee position offering full training. Working for a specialist supplier to the construction industry, this company have been established for over 50 years and are a leader in their field. You will be involved in high profile projects and will watch your projects come to completion.

You will be providing quotes and technical estimates for works to be carried out. They work within a wide variety of sectors including leisure, hospitality and healthcare

After you have completed your training, your role will include;

- Visiting sites and using measuring equipment to complete technical measurements

- Select and calculate materials along with labour cost on Excel (Basic Excel)

- Liaise between customer and internal sales team providing expertise

- Using Word to prepare formal quotes to be supplied to customer

As this is a trainee position, you do not need to have worked in this role before. However we are looking for you to demonstrate experience outlined below;

- Ability to work with numbers; This could be through work experience or education A-Levels/BTEC L3

- Comfortable working with MS packages

- Good problem solver, you like to understand how things work

- Not afraid to speak to customers

- You must hold a UK driving licence and as such will travel with this role, expected 1-2 days per month

Salary: £23,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
