£27,000Level 3 - £21,000 starting salary rising to £24,000Home based with travelLaptop and mobile phone provided25 Days annual leave plus bank holidaysPension schemeSpecsavers schemeNUS Card eligibilityReferral bonus schemeThe RoleAs a Personal Development Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring a caseload of Apprenticeship & Diploma only learners achieve their Health and Social Care qualifications at Level 2/3 or Levels 4/5 depending on your occupational competence.You will do this through conducting progressive visits with every learner every month and supporting, motivating, and encouraging them to achieve within the agreed timeframes. You will have a clear set of KPIs and will manage your own diary to ensure you achieve these.You will complete both remote (video call) sessions with your learners as well as face to face on site visits when required. Approximately 30% of reviews will be on site, 70% completed remotely from home.You will work with a maximum caseload of 55Learners usually within a 50-mile radius of your home.Your key responsibilities will include:Engaging with learners and employers monthly to gain commitment to programmeDelivering effective teaching and learning sessions to develop knowledge, skills and behaviours as defined in the apprenticeship standardsAdhering to Ofsted requirements and best practice for teaching, learning and assessmentVisit an average of 3 learner per day (either remotely or f2f depending on learner need) to ensure a minimum of 90% of learners are seen every monthProactively manage and progress a caseload of learners in line with the curriculum approach to ensure they complete within funded programme end datesCarrying out observations of learner practice in the workplaceSupporting learners to achieve their maths and English functional skillsSupporting learners to successfully pass End Point AssessmentAdhere to external Awarding Organisation standards and internal quality processes at all timesEnsure submission and assessment of learner evidence in a timely manner to show learner progressionProactively commit to your own continuing professional development to drive continual improvementPromote and safeguard learner Health and wellbeingRecognise, record, and report any safeguarding concerns relating to learners, adults at risk or children.RequirementsMinimum of 2 years experience in the adult / elderly Health & Social Care IndustryYou will possess a work-based Health and Social Care qualification at Level 3 or Level 5Be confident in your English and Maths skillsA passion for education, standards, and qualityA thirst for developing your skills to become the best at what you doExcellent time management, organisation, and planning skillsAbility to work under pressure and to strict deadlines and targetsAssertiveness and objection handling skillsProfessional and approachableExcellent IT SkillsAbility to build relationships and engage both learners and employersAbility to communicate at all levelsAdditional InformationYou must have your own transport, a Broadband connection at home and car insurance covered by business class.
