Trainee Housekeeping Supervisor - Ivybank House

Our friendly team at Meallmore are looking for a Trainee Housekeeping Supervisor to join their team in Ivybank House Care Home based in Polmont.

You will be supported through our 8-week mentorship programme where you will develop the skills and knowledge allowing you to progress your career and reach your full potential as our Housekeeping Supervisor.

You will play an integral role within our team where you will be responsible for leading and supervising our housekeeping team and maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and infection prevention control within the care home. This role will involve liaising with the Home Manager, managing the cleaning rota whilst adhering to company policies, Health & Safety and COSHH guidelines.

Skills and Requirements:

• Previous housekeeping experience (within healthcare, a school or hospitality environment is desirable)
• Good knowledge of COSHH and infection control guidelines
• Excellent communication and record keeping skills
• Can work on their own initiative and as part of a team
• Good organisation skills and ability to prioritise their daily duties

Salary: £11.50 per hour + overtime rates + benefits  (increasing to £12.47 per hour after successful mentorship programme)

Hours: 35 hours per week
