Trainee IT Sales Executive

Our client, a leading business in the Technology sector is seeking a Trainee IT Sales Executive to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis.
Due to growth our client is looking to add a Trainee IT Sales Executive to their team, where you will be responsible for making contact with both new and existing clients, introducing the business and their services whilst booking meetings for the Account Managers to then close sales.
The ideal candidate will be a keen, enthusiastic and driven individual looking to begin and develop a career in sales. Although experience is advantageous, this is also a great opportunity for someone looking for their first role in Sales or in an office environment where you will receive full training and progression in the role.
Due to the location of the office candidate will be required to have access to their own vehicle, as well as a valid UK driving license.
Key Responsibilities:
- Make outbound calls to both new and existing clients, introducing the business and the services, whilst making sure existing clients are happy with the service they are being offered with regular check-ins
- Represent the company accurately and professionally, generating appointments for New Business Consultants and Sales Managers, arranging calls and meetings where required
- Achieve targets set by the Sales Director
- Maintain and update records and internal systems relating to existing and potential clients
- Take incoming calls for the sales and marketing team
- Be the first point of contact for customer queries and questions
Key Experience:
- Previous experience in a telephone-based role would be ideal, although not essential
- Experience working in a customer-related environment where you are used to liaising with customers both face to face and over the phone
- Confident working with colleagues, clients and third parties of all levels, building and maintaining relationships
- Able to work both independently and as part of a team
- Experience working in a customer service-related role
- Excellent communicator, both written and verbal
- Enthusiastic with a keenness to learn and progress your career in Sales
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to kickstart their career in Sales as a Trainee IT Sales Executive.
You do not need any previous sales experience, although candidates with excellent in a customer service-related role or a sales position would be at an advantage, where you have been used to liaising with customers, colleagues and clients over the phone and by email.
You will be rewarded with a good basic salary with an OTE of £28,000 and the opportunity to earn a generous and achievable bonus on top.
