Our client, an esteemed engineering company in Martock, specialising in aerospace, automotive, and transportation sectors, seeks a Trainee Laser/Water Jet CNC Machinist to join their team.

Role Overview:

This entry-level role offers hands-on training in programming and operating CNC lasers, water jet cutters, and routers. No prior experience is necessary as full training will be provided.

Responsibilities:

Learn to program and operate CNC machines for laser cutting, water jet cutting, and wood routing.

Assist in break press operations, machine setup, calibration, product inspection, troubleshooting, and maintaining a clean, safe work environment.

The ideal candidate:

• No prior experience required BUT willingness to learn and collaborate in a team environment.

• Interested in being a Laser/Water Jet CNC Machinist

• Basic technical understanding and attention to detail.

• Strong communication skills.

• Excellent problem-solving skills

• Must be proactive and a team player

40 hours a week

Open from 7 am to 5.30, so flexible on start and OT available

OT available on Saturday and Sunday

£6.40 to £11.44
